The Verities of Love
With his latest collection,The Verities of Love, Ron Kolm cements himself as the New York poet. Contained within these vibrant, “outré” (by any other city’s standards) pages are vignettes that speak to the very core of life’s sardonic sense of humor, but NYC’s in particular. And no one else can capture it quite like Kolm.
“When Ron Kolm’s generous heart turns from serving the world poetry to actually writing poetry, it sings, rings and zings. The firmament is shaken, the apples descend to your core and the wind’s facets spill meaning all over the lawn. Ron’s poetry is sometimes humorous—but, believe me, it’s no joke.”
